First of all i wanna say that you have done an excelent job , its a very good tut. I have a question: These mini dv tapes are rewritable or you can overwrite?

Thank you for the kind complement. Mini DV tapes are re-writable. You can record over them as many times as you wish. I wouldn’t suggest making more than 2 or 3 recording passes on any one tape, at a certain point the tape might start to wear and degrade the video.
