On my computer it looks like I will have to break the little silver tab out in order to open up the slot. Is it possible that I have to snap it out? Will I hurt anything if I do it that way? |

It is possible that your computer has snap out tabs. Just apply enough pressure to snap the tab out and you’ll be ready to install your new card. |
